The module available here will allow you to get a fixed host name, despite using a dynamic IP adress.
The host name is the name of your computer on the Internet. In a nutshell, you will thereby have a personalised fixed IP adress. This new adress will be permanent and will forward any communication onto your current dynamic IP adress, regardless of how it evolves.
The refore, you will not need to take IP adress problems into consideration when hosting a web or FTP server on your own PC.

Some versions of the file apparently have bad page layout.
